We want you to enjoy every moment of your stay so while you have total independence in your chosen apartment you can also mingle with the family and other guests in the conservatory, on the terraces or by the pool. Feel free to browse the books in our library or take a picnic to a secluded part of the garden. Of course, you may also wish to use this as a base to see any of the many wonderful attractions nearby, historic homes, beautiful beaches, sea life centre, zoo, or simply take a walk along the Jurassic Coast – the path is at the bottom of the street.
The concept of Delamere Court is to share the extraordinary lifestyle. You will find your apartment of choice has a blend of modern and antique furniture – as with any older property that has been newly refurbished with guest amenities and their comforts in mind. Unless our conclusions and experience are as yet to be proven wrong, everyone wants modern kitchen and bathroom, modern TV, Free WIFI, and other similar amenities – so we made sure you have them. However, most discerning people also seem to appreciate silver cutlery, best porcelain, and top glassware – so we have taken care that you now have access to that too.
Each apartment has a selection of “everyday ware”- decent, but not the very top quality where you would worry about children even touching it. However, we also have a stock of great dinner services, crystal, and silver cutlery that you may borrow – at a minimal charge for that special dinner, or to entertain friends. We do not leave these in the apartments as they are not particularly dishwasher friendly, so after your celebration we will pick up the services and take them for cleaning.
Our personal worry when travelling all over the World is that the bedding and towels may not be “up to standard” so we have chosen to use only the best – Egyptian cotton of very high thread count. On self-catering basic the bed linen and towels are changed once a week – on flexible serviced apartment you choose the number of times the bed linen is changed.
We also understand that everyone wants some things the same and some things that are personal choice so we have tried to form a package that suits everyone. The bedding, the towels, the WIFI, the heating, and hot water, are all part of your basic rental – after all, no one wants to be running round looking for coins in the middle of a good film, or whilst cooking a meal.
However, some people want the independence of their own apartment, but would also like some service so we offer the opportunity to have your apartment cleaned – daily, or whenever they wish. We also offer picnic baskets – empty for you to fill yourself, or filled with one of our choice of picnics. We offer breakfast baskets every day or as a special treat. We offer laundry service, beauty treatments, and a whole list of other things that you may wish to choose from – or not, as you desire.
As freedom of choice is a tradition of our country we have divided out the apartments so some are available for those who wish to bring pets with them. We hope this will be of assistance to people who use guide dogs and hearing dogs as well as those who just do not wish to leave the family pet at home.
